My Mission
Welcome to Sandra Blake Farrell Dressage. With over 25 years of experience as a dressage horse trainer, rider and coach, I am dedicated to supporting riders and their horses in their journey through the dressage world. My focus is on making training enjoyable and straightforward while ensuring the physical and mental well-being of the horses. By recognising their needs both in and out of the saddle, we can help them reach their full potential together. I strive to assist riders in person and online to help achieve their goals with emphasis on empathy for both competition horses and hobby horses,
ABOUT ME
My business is centered around delivering the ultimate dressage experience through online training for riders. provide personalised lessons aimed at enhancing your understanding of movements, balance, the proper positioning of both horse and rider, along with effective use of aids. A key emphasis is placed on how horses perceive our body language and the importance of interpreting theirs, promoting a seamless dialogue between rider and horse. I am committed to guiding you in developing effective communication and the beautiful bond that comes with partnership in dressage. My approach is driven by passion, patience, and persistence, recognising that every horse is unique and requires tailored training. With over ten years of Grand Prix competition experience and several Irish National Championship titles, including National Grand Prix Freestyle Champion in 2016 and 2017, I’ve also successfully trained many young riders to achieve national championship titles at every level including Grand Prix.
My varied experiences with horses around the globe reveal both the joys of riding and the challenges that can emerge. I firmly believe in supporting a horse’s physical and mental development. I am confident that my techniques can assist any horse and rider facing challenges or seeking to enhance their performance.
